Meet Our Team! Ski DiAngelis - Foreman

How long have you worked at Soep?

One month after graduating high school I started my career with Soep. That was 13 years ago!

What do you feel is unique about working at Soep?

The most unique thing about working at Soep painting is the team. From the field workers to office management everyone is like family and shares a similar goal of success.

What is the most memorable project you’ve been involved with at Soep?

My most memorable project is definitely the Encore Boston Harbor. Quality was demanded to the highest standard; it was my greatest finish spray challenge to date.

How is your role critical to the strategic vision and success of Soep? My biggest contribution towards the future success of Soep Painting is to continue teaching in the unofficial “Spray Academy” headed up by well-known finish spray man, Jimmy Winningham. I was once a student myself, and together Jimmy and I strive to develop all apprentices and young journeypeople into elite finish painters.

What is the most satisfying aspect of your job?

The most satisfying aspect of my job would have to be completing my goals and seeing apprentices and younger journeypeople sharpen their skills to a higher standard.

When I’m not at work you’ll find me...

Fishing, riding, or relaxing with my family and enjoying a fresh Treehouse brew.

Which of Soep’s Core values do you feel is the most critical to the company‘s success?

Highly Trained/Highly Skilled of course. We are consistently developing skills that are unmatched among our competitors.

What has it been like returning to work with new safety protocols?

Work has been very productive thus far. General contractors are organizing great safety plans and proper scheduling to keep workers and other trades spread out on our job sites.
