How long have you worked at Soep? I’ve worked at Soep for 6 years now.
What do you feel is unique about working at Soep? The most unique aspect about the job is that each project is constantly evolving. Regardless of your time spent in the company, each new job site offers unique perspectives to the trade, as well as new skills and opportunities for learning. It makes each project exciting and rewarding.
What is the most memorable project you’ve been involved with at Soep? Of the many projects I’ve had the pleasure of being apart of, I think the most memorable for me is the One Dalton job. The job included various facets with each condo as its own unique “job within a job”. Second only to the Prudential building, the One Dalton building completely changed the Boston skyline and being apart of something so transformative is truly awe inspiring.
How is your role critical to the strategic vision and success of Soep? My role is critical in that I am a dedicated team member and take pride in my work. I strive to be a responsible and reliable colleague in every project I am apart of. I believe it is important to remain positive and work diligently through any challenge that may present itself and I hope to be a strong presence and lead others by example.
What is the most satisfying aspect of your job? The most satisfying aspect of my job is seeing the lasting impact our work has and knowing that it makes a difference to the community, particularly in the Boston area that I call my home. I take pride in each and every job and it is gratifying to see such satisfaction reflected back in others as well.
Finish the sentence. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me… When I’m not at work you’ll find me at the rink playing hockey. It’s a pasttime I’ve enjoyed with friends and family since childhood. I also enjoy hiking adventures with my wife and preparing for our new baby that is on the way.
Which of Soep’s Core Values do you feel is the most critical to the company’s success? Soep truly is a remarkable company with hard work, respect and team work at its core. Each of our members plays a crucial role in safely and successfully completing each job and it’s a relationship that continues to strengthen over time. “One team one dream” signifies that only through a collective effort are we able to achieve success and uphold the Soep name. Each core value is equally important and makes us a better company, as well as individuals.
