Meet Our Team! Sean Ricciuti: Estimator

How long have you worked at Soep I've worked at Soep for four years now.

What do you feel is unique about working at Soep? The company culture and working environment. Since day one, I’ve always felt like part of a family here.

How is your role critical to the strategic vision and success of Soep? Every job starts with an estimate. My role as an estimator is to ensure my bids are detailed, accurate and encompass all scope. Just as a solid foundation is a critical piece to the success and future of a structure, so is a solid estimate to the success of any given job.

What is the most memorable project you’ve been involved with at Soep? One Dalton. Although I’ve done bigger and more complex estimates since then, this one stands out to me as the most memorable. It was the first really large job I had won. It contains a lot of high end finishes and a lot of things we do well as a company. It’s also pretty cool to know I had a part in the construction of the tallest residential tower in the city. Driving through Boston, it’s a building you really can’t miss.

What is the most satisfying aspect of your job? Any time I’m able to win a new paint bid. Whenever I’m handing over a job to project management, I know we have a good chance to be successful.

Which of Soep’s Core Values do you feel is the most critical to the company’s success? Reliable. Being both consistent and reliable are huge reasons our customers have confidence in us. General contractors and owners want to work with us because they know we will get the job done right every time.

Finish the sentence. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me… Golfing, bowling, or playing guitar. Just don’t go looking for me in the PGA, PBA or rock & roll hall of fame. I’m also an avid Red Sox fan and try to get out to Fenway for a game as often as I can.
