Accountant

SOEP Painting Corporation is a 3rd generation family-owned business specializing in commercial painting and specialty services. We are currently seeking a professional, team-oriented individual to join our accounting team. This role will report to the Controller and will be responsible for accounts payable and project accounting, including billing, change requests, change orders, project set up and other tasks to support the project teams.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • 4-year degree in accounting
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience in a construction environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizations skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility, and the ability to multi-task are also a must
  • Timberline/Sage experience is a plus

Assistant Project Manager

SOEP Painting Corporation is a 3rd generation family-owned business specializing in commercial painting and specialty services. We are currently seeking a professional and team-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our operations team! This is a growth opportunity for a learning-oriented and driven individual!

The Assistant Project manager will be working in a team environment to support multiple project managers with various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare and distribute job information and submittals to the field
  • Organize and prepare submittals, responses to RFIs and bulletins
  • Price out material costs and review and approve material invoices
  • Help manage time and material slips, change requests, and change orders
  • Develop the ability to read and understand project documents
  • Visit jobsites and attend project meetings with the Project Manager as needed
  • Support project managers with kick offs, cost meetings, and close-outs

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Construction management degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in a construction environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility, and the ability to multi-task are also a must
  • Timberline/Sage experience is a plus

Project Estimator

SOEP Painting Corporation is a 3rd generation family-owned business specializing in commercial painting and specialty services. We are currently seeking a professional and team-oriented Project Estimator to join our operations team! This is a growth opportunity for a learning-oriented and driven individual!

The Project Estimator will be working in a team environment with various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

  • Provide detailed quantity takeoff and pricing for Commercial and Industrial Painting projects
  • Maintain a full understanding of the project drawings and plans
  • Utilize on-screen digital takeoff software, specifications, RFIs, vendor information and on site walkthroughs to generate detailed and accurate pricing and proposals
  • Collaborate with the project management team to distribute the budgets and job start up information.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong organization skills along with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience estimating construction industry projects
